Port Isabel Patriotic Spirit Celebration and Parade

Mayor Joe E. Vega and the Port Isabel City Commissioners invite the public to attend the Port Isabel Patriotic Spirit Celebration and Parade. The parade will begin at 10am at GarrigaElementary School and follows a route to South Shore Drive continuing down Musina Street, and finishing at WashingtonPark. There will be a celebration at WashingtonPark immediately following the parade.

The City of Port Isabel is excited and proud to celebrate this special day with the community. Music and games including a watermelon seed spitting contest, sack race, best costume and hotdog eating contest will be featured. Food vendors will be set up in WashingtonPark and free hotdogs will be given courtesy of Blue Marlin and HEB.

The Port Isabel Patriotic Spirit Celebration is sponsored by the City of Port Isabel, Port Isabel Economic Development Corporation and the Museums of Port Isabel.
