The Port Isabel Lighthouse Solar Eclipse Viewing Event on April 8, 12:00?- 3:00?pm will offer a unique opportunity to view this solar event from the catwalk of a historic Lighthouse! A chance to imagine what it must’ve been like for the Lighthouse Keeper Henry Wildman and Assistant Keeper George Sanders and their families to marvel at the wonder of a twilight sky at noontime in 1878 when the last total eclipse occurred in Texas.

A very limited amount of reservations will be taken for this special event. Cost: $50 per person will include 3-hours of access to the Lighthouse during the Solar Eclipse on 4/8, a swag bag including viewing glasses and other goodies, a snack basket and an event t-shirt.
